Helping women reshape their bodies
and their baggage
What's in it for you? A connection, some challenges, a few questions to encourage you to simply reflect about how you live your life versus how you want to live your life. Feel free to share the answers with me: I'd love to hear from you. It's an invitation to focus on where you'd like to change and grow.
1. PERSONAL LIFE COACHING:
Would you buy shoes without trying them on?
2. IF YOU DON'T LOOK AFTER YOURSELF WHO WILL?
The Power of Self Talk.
3. FOOD FOR THOUGHT AND THOUGHTS ON FOOD.
Do you measure up?
4. THOUGHTS FROM MY SWING:
Suppose you're feeling stuck. Something in your life needs to change and you've not been able to tackle it on your own. Perhaps it's time for some outside help - someone impartial and non judgmental: you'd like to hire a coach. The trick is to find a coach that gels with your personality. Thus the complimentary coaching consultation where you get to sample the style of a few coaches to determine the best fit.
Here's how it works: you call or email me to set up a time slot at your convenience when you can ask question and experience the coaching style. You could do the same thing with a few coaches to determine which one you really connect with. There's no charge for the consultation. There should be no pressure to buy.
There's no risk for you and you get the exact assistance you need to help you get unstuck! Easy? You bet!

2: The Power of Self Talk.
The messages you send to yourself are among the most powerful. Listen carefully! If you hear yourself saying "I can't...", "They won't like me...", "I'm afraid to..." or similar ideas, you'll frequently be sabotaging your success. The more you think or speak negative outcomes, the less likely you are to accomplish your goals. I repeat - listen carefully to your self talk: when you catch yourself muttering negative predictions, you can interrupt and exchange the negatives for positives. Like any behaviour change it will feel difficult and awkward when you start. But, exercising any muscle becomes easier with repetition and the muscle soon becomes stronger. Only you have the power to change your thought patterns!
When you start your day believing it's going to be a great one, you empower yourself to make it so!
3: Do you measure up?
Most of us know a great cook who throws in a sprinkle of this and a handful of that to produce an absolutely yummy creation. That great cook might be totally oblivious to the number of calories in the recipe.
When one truly wants to lose weight, ignorance is definitely not bliss! Forget about the sprinkle and the handful and use the good old teaspoon, tablespoon and measuring cup. This is especially essential when applied to sauces, fats or salad dressings. You could fry mushrooms in a teaspoon of oil or two tablespoons of oil, the difference being more than 150 calories. Doing that or something similar, daily, will quickly add on an extra pound in less than a month! Calories can be dangerously devious, but measuring carefully can stop them in their tracks!
Do you measure up?

4: Thoughts from my....
This month my swing is a metaphor for another very special place I happen to be as I write down these thoughts: namely the cottage of some dear friends. Supplementing the luscious trees and other greenery that I routinely view from my swing is the fabulous blue of an expansive lake and sky. There is an abundance of birds, an occasional jumping fish, the most fabulous silence and a euphoric calm.
It could be my ever-changing perspective or the consistently accelerating passage of time - I don't know why I'm feeling exceptionally thankful for the generous presence of nature in my life this summer. How glorious is this earth! And I'm ever so grateful.
May your opportunities for gratitude be as plentiful as mine!
