What's in it for you?  A connection, some challenges, a few questions to encourage you to simply reflect about how you currently live your life versus how you want to live your life.  Feel free to share your thoughts with me;  I'd love to hear from you.  This is an invitation to focus on where you'd like to change and grow.

1.  If you don't look after yourself, who will?:

2.  Food for thought and thoughts on food and/or weight loss:
More Eating Habits of "The Thin"

3.  Thoughts from my swing:
or an even better place!

1:  Energy

There are very few influences in life that leave your energy intact.   Almost every experience -- be it with people, places or things -- either energizes you or zaps you.

We all know individuals who inspire us as well as those who drain us.  Even a few minutes with the right or wrong person can drastically change our attitude and energy.

If after being out all day you come home to your sanctuary, it feels great and yes, energizing.   If the first thing you notice upon your return home is peeling paint, you can easily get turned off - regardless of whatever else greets you.

Everyone has their own triggers.   That weed in the garden can act as a delicious invitation for someone to spend an hour or two nurturing nature.   For others it can be an "oh, no!:  - I just need to relax, not bend and dig and yank!"

So what is draining you?   This month I invite you to take this opportunity to pick one zapper of your energy and take control to change it.   Again, start small, set a time frame and go for it.

Want to be accountable to me?   Feel free to send me your intentions and I'm happy to follow through with you.   What an offer!   Grab it!!!!!!

If you notice an abundance of factors making life more difficult, how about a complimentary coaching call to get you moving?   To make arrangements please call 416-225-3535 or email lyndawise@yahoo.com.

2:  More Eating Habits of "The Thin" - as promised last month

  • Eat when hungry:  stop when full.   That extra bite of ________(please feel free to fill in what calls you) will not make you happier, less stressed, more attractive, less bored, more content, less afraid........in the long run.
  • Eat what really sings to you.   Find fruit, veggies, lean protein, complex carbs that you really like.   Maybe even try something new!  Take the time to shop and prepare good quality food.   YOU ARE WORTH IT!!
  • Don't feel deprived.   Let's face it:  deprived is a state of mind of your choosing.   Allow yourself to eat controlled portions of foods you love from time to time.   Savour every mouthful.   Enjoy it thoroughly and think "satisfied"!
  • Notice how you feel after eating.   Contented?  Stuffed?  Hungry?  Deprived?  (There's that feeling again) Then use what you've noticed to guide your future intake.
  • Judge your eating rather than yourself.   A regretted choice is in the past.   Learn from it and let it go without beating yourself up.

The 12 WEEK WEIGHT LOSS TELECLASS will begin again in the last week of September.  There will be one daytime option and one evening option.  Perhaps now is the time to plan your Christmas or Chanukah gift to yourself - this special package of self care.   Please let me know if you or someone you know is interested.   Also please, let me know if you cannot wait!   Individual coaching can begin whenever you're ready. lyndawise@yahoo.com to set up a free 30 minute pre-session to learn more.   Or visit http://wisecoaching.ca/WL_teleGroup.htm

3:  Thoughts from an even better place!!

Home now:   but I wrote this early yesterday morning when the time and ideas collided.

"I'm on a small island at a friend's cottage.   I woke up, alarmless, to blue sky, gentle waters with loons playing in them, and more trees and greener green than I could ever imagine.  Add in hot-freshly-ground-and-brewed coffee and complete solitude on the dock.   All I can hear are the whisperings of nature.   There is no need or desire to peek ahead or behind since this is indeed a perfect moment.   Finally, I'm truly living in the now.

I'm so very guilty of being overly busy and rushing through life.   Time flying by is scary and sobering.  That moment of perfection will not cure me but rather will hopefully lead me to search out more peace.

Each of us can experience a unique moment of perfection when we allow it.   Yours?

Wishing you what you wish for yourself,
