What's in it for you?    A connection, some challenges, a few questions to encourage you to simply reflect about how you currently live your life versus how you want to live your life.  Feel free to share your thoughts with me;  I'd love to hear from you.  This is an invitation to focus on where you'd like to change and grow.

Speaking of Holidays...

Remember the song???

1:  Temptation?

What a fine excuse the holidays provide!  "So much shopping, preparing, partying, working, providing, visiting, and so the list goes on - "I'm just too busy to look after myself".

A recent health study done over a seven-year period by a completely reliable health agency came up with this conclusion; adults who walk fifteen minutes each day extend their life span by three years and are more resistant to many diseases.

Think you can find 15 minutes?  This is not about being selfish!  This is about properly prioritizing and enabling yourself to be that productive and satisfied human being that you're striving for.   No sacrifice here - unless you choose to view it that way.

So here's a suggestion:  create a list of who and how you want to be in 2014 and thereafter.  For the next few weeks, you'll have at least fifteen minutes per day to think about it and create and recreate it - and clarify what is meaningful to you.

This message is definitely a repeat one from me to you.  But it now holds the carrot of extending and enjoying your life that much more.

Temptation?  It's constantly around.  There are always alternatives to your right choices.  Never give up.  If circumstances knock you off the wagon and you miss a day, get back on the wagon pronto.  You are definitely worth the effort... believe it!

2:  Speaking of the holidays...

...and excuses, the holidays provide the perfect excuse to pig out and gain five or ten pounds.  My question is...  "How are you going to feel if that happens?"

I'd love to have a chat with you, sooner rather than later, so we can implement strategies to help you boost your will power and save you from facing that shocking number on the scale when the festivities are done.

There is no obligation involved in a complementary coaching call.  You simply call or email and indicate that you are ready to try it out.  Together, we'll figure out a time (on a Monday or Tuesday) that works for you and then we'll connect at the arranged time.  You get to experience coaching, reap a benefit or two, ask all your questions, and discover if it's for you.

The strategies that coaches help clients create are custom made, according to each client's personal values, habits and desires.

Are you ready????

3:  Remember the song???

From the Broadway musical "Oklahoma"?    "I'm Just a Girl Who Can't say NO"?

Right now I'm feeling like that girl!  There are so many activities in my life that I enjoy being involved in.  Considering family, social life, work life, holidays, home care, self care, travel and who knows what else has crept in there, I'm feeling that "time to breathe" has gotten short changed.

I'm not a backer-outer, always stubbornly (sometimes ridiculously so) determined to follow through, but I'm really hoping to learn a lesson from this phase of my life.  It's too late to change the song, but I'm hoping to adjust my version to "I'm Just a Girl who CAN say 'NO' when Experiencing Shortness of Breath"!

That said, may your holidays be filled with great friends and family, and as many plans as you crave, along with time to appreciate, be grateful and last-but-not-least, breathe!!!

Happy Holidays. Happy New Year!!!!

I'm wishing you whatever you wish for yourself!
